Ricki came to us very thin with a large litter of puppies. Now she is spayed and ready to join her new family. Ricki can be nervous of new people and may react negatively, so she requires an experienced guardian who can introduce her slowly and calmly to new people using positive reinforcement to help her learn that meeting new people is fun. Once Ricki knows you, she is the sweetest girl - she loves to give you hugs and gentle kisses. Being a lab x collie, she will require an active home that can provide her with daily exercise. Ricki knows basic commands and is very food motivated - so training is easy and fun! Ricki is house trained, does well when left here at the shelter, but we are unsure what her history in a home was. Ricki is best suited to a home as an only pet as she can be selective about her 4 legged friends.
